0700 Up to check out the new Wii system and Weather reports, before everybody gets up.
0800 Everybody is still sleeping.
0900 Family (last day I see them until New Year’s Day, except for little spurts) starting to get up.
1050 Just started snowing.
1200 Taking nap, maybe I’ll feel better later.
1400 No the nap didn’t help, allergies going to kill me tonight.
1500 Went out to smoke and boy it looks bad, cars are still coming by, we must be doing good job.
1515 Checking out Facebook, pictures and comments confirming my fears, its bad out there, winds are singing thru the windows.
1600 Getting edgy, I know it’s going to be a long night.
1700 Picked up by Marv and Tom.
1800 The chaos begins.
1900 The garage, on the block all you can see is 2 legged ants, working to get out and do something to help.
2000 I’m out, 10-1k.
Oops should have stood in the garage, I’m useless out here, car stuck 6 times, streets blocked, no salt being drop and getting worse. It looks bad.
Where are all these cars coming from?, I’m pretty sure they’re going home, I hope! Unbelievable! I hope they made it, its BAD out here.
Buses? We don’t need no stinky buses, with out chains, somebody is in big trouble over there, those buses never had a chance.
Total flop of a plan, and now we’re(DSNY) under the microscope, it seems to the men and women that the city is looking to make us a scapegoat, and investigation during a night plow season very unproductive and demoralizing, it will find something to pin on us, it has too or at least share in the blame.
