Looking for work after the blizzard?

Individuals interested in registering with the DSNY can do so at their local district garage (click and scroll down to “See a list of DSNY garages”), weekdays between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. The list of garage locations can be found at www.nyc.gov/sanitation.

Wow, this one almost became a record but who cares it was still a bad one. This is the first storm(blizzard) that I saw from the comforts of home(Florida) and boy did it look bad from here.

What I saw was that it was well managed from my view, the only complaint was from one that said that DSNY knew storm was coming and should of picked up all the garbage, oh boy never fails, there is always one.

How do you score success?

Me, I look at success in these storms by deaths and NYC saw 3 and those died by shoveling snow. I know sometimes our body thinks we could do things that look easy, but this(shoveling) is always a bad idea during winter, this activity is considered strenuous exercise and depending on your health it should be approach as such, no matter what age you are!.

Here’s everything you need to know before shoveling snow.

How to shovel snow.

Shovel snow into the street, earn yourself a hefty fine!
