Training, training and more training.

There’s no more fun than training for snow on a sunny day, but necessary, yeah! I said that.
I always thought this was a good idea, over the years it has improved mainly because it gets some of the problems solved before they’re a problem during that most important first storm of the season.
Why is the first storm so important? Because that sets the tone for the remainder of season, you screw the first one up and you will have eyes on you for the rest of night plow(not fun) and very annoying.

Annoying things during a Snow Storm

  • Can’t find a form.
  • Don’t have a key(equipment or structural property).
  • Blocked equipment, doorways and gateways.
  • Down equipment.
  • Radio chatter that’s not important.
  • Computer work
  • Paperwork
  • Accidents
  • No Clerk
  • Bosses getting in the way.

Safety First Safety Always

Get your rest!

People with flu can spread it to others up to about 6 feet away. Most experts think that flu viruses are spread mainly by droplets made when people with flu cough, sneeze or talk. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. Less often, a person might also get flu by touching a surface or object that has flu virus on it and then touching their own mouth or nose.

Wash hands often with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub
