What a freekin cold day this was, so what do we do, we get on a double decker and on top just to really feel that nice cold wind hitting us like knives – that’s what made the day more memorial in my memories of visiting the President. Best moment was standing in front of the Lincoln Memorial, very moving feeling.

This town is loaded with history that I only knew through books, it was a mix  feeling of sorts when we saw the Ford’s Theatre where President Abraham Lincoln was shot on April 14, 1865 by John Wilkes Booth and  brought across the street from the theatre to eventually die.
